topic “Effects of COVID-19 on clothing stores”, and providing for all support and guidance
which helped me to complete the project on time. This also helped me to know about so many
new things.

with the required information based on which the project report is based upon. I would also
thank all the respondents for providing time to fill up the questionnaire despite their busy

Executive Summary

The global Covid-19 pandemic has had a devastating impact on clothing stores , and the
situation will get far worse before it gets btter. As clothing outlets have been shut by
lockdowns in developed market economies, sinking demand for apparel, brands and
retailers have moved quickly to cancel or postpone production orders – refusing, in
many cases, to pay for clothing their supplier factories have already produced. The
result has been the partial or complete shutdown of clothing stores of all over the
countries. As a result, thousands of workers have been sent home, often without
legally-mandated pay or severance.

This Research Brief draws from responses from questionnaire survey of clothing store
of lamjung, besisahar. It reveals the devastating impact on sales, physical store closed.
The conducted survey also identifies that effect of covid -19 on clothing stores sector of
lamjung, besisahar. Response from 30 respondents were randomly collected, stored and
analyzed using SPSS. Data collected from primary sources have been recorded and
analyzed with social media site that influence clothing store while buying fashion, which
market channel do they operate in, what preventive measures did they take to
overcome pandemic situation, hoe covid have effected their business,how will adapt to
normal.
