Learning Outcomes:

how it is measured.
2. Have a working knowledge how to use Bernoulli’s equation to relate pressure and flow
speed at different points in certain types of flow.

This modules discusses the following: State of Matter; Density and Pressure; Variation of
Pressure with Depth; Pressure Measurements; Buoyant Forces and Archimedes’ Principle;
Fluid in Motion; Bernoulli’s Equation; Other Applications of Fluid Dynamics; Surface
Tension, Capillary Action, and Viscous Fluid Flow; Poiseuille’s Law; Reynold’s Number.
