Code of Conduct Training Module
Welcome to PBS&J! During your new employee
orientation, you will receive our PBS&J Code of
Conduct, Building for the Future: Our Values, demonstrate how ethics and compliance issues
Principles, and Standards. The Code provides
guidance on the expectations for ethical conduct at
PBS&J in a manner that strongly supports our firm’s
values. It is a valuable reference tool to assist you in
your decision making. Please take time to read the
Code and sign the Employee Commitment form
provided by Human Resources.
We also have an ethics and compliance training
program. As part of our training program, which is a
key component of our ethics and compliance initiative,
the company has developed an online course in
partnership with SAI Global. The course reviews our
PBS&J Code of Conduct.
As members of an employee-owned firm, we each
appreciate our responsibility to understand and
adhere to PBS&J’s core ethical standards and
business values. To confirm your understanding
of the requirement to act responsibly on behalf
of PBS&J, you are being asked to complete the
Code of Conduct training course within sixty (60)
days of your hire date. The senior leaders of our firm,
including PBS&J’s Board of Directors and our Service
Directors, were among the first to complete the course
to show their support of our ethics and compliance
program. Completion of the course is mandatory for all
employees and demonstrates to our clients and others
that our firm is recommitting itself to always conducting
business with integrity.

The course is designed to help employees
become more familiar with the Code and to
can develop in a workplace setting. It only takes
approximately 30-45 minutes and reviews the Code
through several realistic scenarios. The course is being
offered through PBS&J University and is available over
the Internet 24/7 via the e*net or anywhere else outside
of the PBS&J Network.
You will receive an email from the Technology
Operations Applications Development Group letting
you know when your e*net login has been created.
You then will be able to access the PBS&J University
site for the Code of Conduct and other training
courses. Please save these instructions on how to
access the online Code course and other details.
We hope that you will find this to be an engaging and
enjoyable learning experience. If you have questions or

To Access the Course: Technical Details:

• From the home page of the e*net, please
click on PBS&J University from the support
column.  Please note: If you are accessing
the course from home or anywhere else
outside of the PBS&J Network, type or paste
http://learn.pbsj.com directly into your
browser’s address field.
• If you are reading this message through
Web mail on Mobile*net, do not click the link,
as this will cause problems viewing
the course.  Instead copy and paste
http://learn.pbsj.com into your browser directly.
• After you log on to the training site, you will be
given a choice of three versions for viewing the
course: (1) video, (2) slideshow with audio,
and (3) text and graphics only. Please choose
the appropriate version for your computer
system.  We consider the video presentation
to be the most effective and would encourage
you to use that format if possible. However, if
you find the video mode to be slow or if you
have a slower internet connection, select
the “slideshow with audio” or “text and graphics”
viewing mode, either of which operates on a
lower bandwidth than video for easier viewing. 

• From the home page of PBS&J University, • If you run dual monitors, please try it on both
log into eLearning. There will be a link on the screens, as it has been discovered that some
left hand side of the screen toward the middle video drivers may not display the video on one
of the page. or the other monitor. 

• From the eLearning listings, click on the link for
the “Ethics” folder.
• Click on the course titled “PBSJ Code
of Conduct”.
• You will be asked to log in.
• If you have any technical questions or run
into any technical difficulties, please submit a
Help Desk ticket from the e*Net homepage and
select “PBS&J University” from the drop down
menu.
