About Us
Tech Swarm is a UAV Research and Development startup, incorporated in January 2020 in New Delhi. It is
a seed funded company, with clients in the defense and telecommunications sectors. We distinguish
ourselves from our contemporaries through rapid innovation and technological ingenuity, ensuring that we
lead the drone revolution in India and globally, not by replicating or enhancing existing technologies, but
utilizing our hardcore RnD prowess to enable newer, superior and distinct applications, to significantly uplift
the industry standards.

We primarily work in the defense sector. Some of our civilian projects include Aeri5G and HelpOnAir.

Aeri5G is a 5G Network Planning system which conducts aerial surveys of the real world to gather
geospatial data, 3D data and RF environment in an area. The data mining engine further enriches the data
with demographic data and processes this data to create a digital twin. This digital representation of the
real world is used to perform analysis and using metaheuristic optimization techniques, the optimum
placement of the 5G infrastructure and the radio area network architecture is determined, such that the
capacity and coverage of the network are optimized. This technology enables 5000 times faster analysis
than any existing techniques.

HelpOnAir is our social initiative for escorting women in vulnerable spots using a drone capable of
identifying and predicting any potential assault. The drone raises alarms, starts a live stream and reports
the threat to nearby app users and police servers.

A few achievements in our journey so far:


● Startup Singapore (Organized by Gov. of Singapore) : Top 500 startups in the globe for Aeri5G.
● National Innovation Challenge 2020 (Organized by MHRD) : Winner & grant recipient for Aeri5G.
● NITI Aayog’s iLEAP program, Cyber Security cohort : Top 11 innovative cyber security startups in
India for our UAV cyber security and reverse engineering protection solution.
● Hello Tomorrow Deep Tech Global Challenge 2021 : Global top 50 startups; invited to present our
Aeri5G system in the summit in front of Emmanuel Macron in Paris.
Overview of the current project
As of February 2022, we’d be initiating the process of venturing into the agricultural industry. We plan to
create drone systems for aiding farmers, governments and other agricultural stakeholders in automating
tasks in agricultural lands for enhancing the efficiency, quality and yield of the fields. Moreover, discovering
and analyzing a new niche like agricultural technology takes a significant amount of groundwork, research,
financial modeling, planning and brainstorming. We’d like to work with a multidisciplinary team of students
who would help us setting up the entire agricultural product vertical in our startup setting.

The selected participants across different domains would be expected to:


1. Conduct thorough market research, including physical interviews and meetings (depending on the
Covid-19 conditions).
2. Identify B2G and B2B avenues for sales.
3. Understand the niche and its technicalities to better serve the industry.
4. Identify opportunities for us to showcase and sell our products.
5. Understand the economics behind the potential sales.
6. Understand the demographics, crop patterns, etc. of different regions to narrow down initial market
locations.
7. Coordinate with partnering agricultural research institutes to understand how our systems can
create a better impact than the existing competitors.
8. Develop a sales funnel.
9. Prepare a financial model and set a dynamic pricing strategy.
10. Perform risk analysis (including legal constraints) and mitigation strategies.
11. Prepare a process pipeline to enable manufacturing, assembly and delivery of the products with
minimum possible lead time.
12. Set up an efficient supply chain for procuring and transporting the raw components and delivering
the products.
13. Create a targeted marketing process and optimize it based on carefully picked indicators.
14. Enable us to set up a structured process for establishing our online presence through social media
and a website.
15. Find the profiles of people who would be necessary for automating all processes from procurement
of raw material to manufacturing to the delivery process and the after-sales processes.

Project Details
Duration : 2 months
Daily Engagement : 2-3 hours
Areas of Project : Marketing, Sales, Operations, Business Development, Human Resources Management
Preferred Skills : Since the scope of the project is relatively vast, each of the mentioned domains requires a
different set of skills, and accordingly the students need to be skilled in the domains they are selected for.
Incentives : Experience Letter, LoRs for top performers, PPOs or paid internship opportunities subject to
the requirements of the company.
