· Started working on the task schedule together and then Fatima uploaded the excel
sheet on a shared drive and everyone would work on it together.
· Fatima told the team members to send their timetables so we can agree on meeting
times and days and we concluded having our meetings every Wednesday or Thursday
from 12:30 PM-2:00 PM and we can meet on Monday from 1:00-2:00 Pm if we had
to meet up urgently.
Next steps:
In our next meeting, we will discuss the different sustainability problems and choose the most
appropriate problem.
Fatima informed us about the different ideation strategies and platforms and told the group the
best two Fatima and Tarik saw most suitable which were ego alter and brainstorming on google
doc and jamboard. Each team member agreed to chose a problem and superhero for the ego
alter. Fatima gave a deadline at 7:00 PM on 8th of February for the ‘team discussion 2’ as well
as the ideation strategies.
The group agreed on four sustainability problems, created the decision matrix and made the
decisions by communicating on the google doc sheet. A team problem memo was created on
google doc and a deadline of 8:00pm on the 9th of February was set.

-The team agreed on one problem for the technical report and divided the different parts of the
report amongst the team members.
- A deadline of 5:00 pm on 13th of February was set.
-Layered strategy will be used to edit each other’s parts.
Next steps:
In our next meeting, we will discuss how we can further improve our team charter and task
schedule so that it is ready for submission on Feb 17, 2022 . Also, we will get feedback from
the instructor to improve the second draft of the project statement.

-the team discussed on what has to be done to improve the final draft:
● Listen the the voice recording and make improvements on your part based on the
instructor’s feedback
● 24 hours before the submission deadline use the layering method and edit out each
other’s parts
● If in doubt ask to clear out any misunderstandings
-The team manager (Faima) spoke about the importance of effective communication
-The deadline for this is 11:59 pm on Friday
Next steps:
In our next meeting, we will discuss project 2 and we will focus on researching for the solution.
One of the possible research solution will be going to a chemical engineering professor and ask
questions regarding chemicals that can break down food and also evaluate the advantages and
the disadvantages of the chemicals used.
