Mini Project Title : SMART BLIND STICK WITH TRACKING FACILITY
Domain Name : KUSUMA SOHAN

ABSTRACT :

Blind sticks are the helping gadgets to assist visually impaired people in scanning their
environment and figuring out the barriers without the want for help from outside agents. The
cutting-edge mechanical shape of the blind sticks desires up-gradation for higher assistance to
the concern. Therefore, this paper proposes an amendment to those sticks with the accession
of sensors, micro-controllers, and buzzers that aid the concerned higher navigate their
environment/environment and as a result offers stronger mobility revel in. The sensors hit
upon the hurdles and barriers from a secure distance and the micro-controller turns on a
buzzer to alert the person in case of threats. The version employs some other unit to ship
region updates to kith and kins of the concern in emergency situations with the assist of GPS
and GSM units. The microcontroller withinside the 2d module is hooked up to a sensor located
at his/her hand that video displays units the fitness parameters together with pulse charge etc.
Any ordinary adjustments in those readings bring about an automatic textual content message
despatched to the referred to contacts at the side of the GPS region. The version is aimed to be
a cost-powerful and person-pleasant tool for aiding the visually challenged humans that
ensures exceedingly dependable navigation overall performance and more person revel in via
way of means of supplying numerous additional features.

Objective :

Visually impaired human beings are the those who locate it tough to apprehend the smallest
element with wholesome eyes. The targets of this studies paintings consist of as follows: To
layout an assistive era for visually impaired human beings that may discover barriers and offer
opportunity routes for the blind To alarm the person thru vibration to decide the barriers route
sources To assist the person locate his stick while he mistakenly loses it somewhere. Through
this clever blind stick, visually impaired human beings could have a lot of assistance. In case of
any problem, with the feature of Global Positioning System (GPS), we will music their
whereabouts.

Expected Outcome:
1
i. The blind person can walk with the smart blind stick and he can overcome the obstacles
along the path.
ii. With the help of GPS tracker we can locate him if he lost the path and the other person can
see his location.
