A. AIM: To define folding and hanging capacity standards for stores in order to use store capacity in the
maximum level productivity.

B. SCOPE: This memorandum covers visual merchandising capacity standards of all LC WAIKIKI
Magazacilik stores (including franchise stores)

OVERVIEW: Capacity standards for product folding and hanging are determined by Retail Visual
Merchandising and Communication Directorate. These standards are applied when displaying products
on walls, tables, and fixtures. It is expected Store Managers, Store Visual Merchandisers, and Franchise

/ Area Visual Merchandiser / Area Visual Manager to take necessary actions in accordance with the
outlined rules stated in this document.

1. Basic Principles:

1.1. Visual merchandising capacity standards are determined based on the store capacity by the Retail
Visual Merchandising and Communication Directorate.

1.2. Exceptions for the implementation (only for international stores):


 Best seller fixtures will not be considered in the audit.

 Classification walls, during the discount periods will not be considered in the audit.
 The stores which have merch-group based capacity under 80 % according to Temaonline store

capacity, will not be considered (except Franchise stores)


 Accessory walls will not be considered in the audit.

1.3.1. Stores are classified by MerchYasGroup and according to their stock turn:

Exception: Stores with a very high number of tables, if they cannot fill all tables may merchandise

1.6. DISPLAY SHELVES:

1.6.1. Merchandising standards for 120 cm wall shelves in adult groups are as follows :
• In BG and BU, Fast Stock Turn Stores will merchandise 4 piles on a shelf.

1.6.2. On display shelves, options may be displayed vertically or horizontally. Where product is

1.6.3. Where product is displayed horizontally, you may use only tops or tops and bottoms; but you shall
not use only bottoms.

1.6.4. Each pile shall be 20 cm in height for maximum capacity.

1.7. WALLS:

1.7.1. On the upper levels of a wall where we display outfits on face-outs, two options shall be

merchandised to create the outfit.

1.7.2. For Slow Stock Turn Stores the first three hangers shall be layered up to create the outfit. After
the first three dress up hangers, the product shall be displayed separately unlayered.

1.7.3. For Fast Stock Turn Stores all hangers shall be layered to create the outfit.

1.7.4. On the lower levels of a wall where we display product on face-outs, Fast stock turn stores may

1.7.6. The thickness of hangers and the product dictate the number of units to be merchandised by
