 Rise of Islam in Mecca (Saudi Arabia).
 Islam religion is founded by Prophet Mohammad.
 The Prophet was born in Mecca in 570 AD.
 His father's name was Abdullah and mother's name was Ameen.
 He god enlightenment in 610 AD. Near Heera cave in Saudi Arabia.
 Journey of prophet Mohammad in 622 AD from Mecca to medina is known as ‘hijri samvod”
in Islam religion.
 The holy book of Islam i.e. kuran wrote in the city medina.
 Mohammad sahib is died in 632 AD in Medina.
 After the death of Prophet Mohammad the division of Islam into two groups, ‘Sunni’ and
‘Shia’
 Successor of prophet. Mohammad is known by the name of khalifa.
 Rise of Islam in India by the invasion of Arabs.




 First successful Arab invasion was led by Mohammad-bin-Qasim in 712. On sindh.

 Sindh was ruled by Raja Dahir at the time of attack.
 Main aim of arab invader was to plunder wealth and Spread of Islam in India.
 Jajiya was first imposed by Mohammad bin Qasim on non-Muslims of Sindh.
