Statement of the Problem:

The study focused on the effects of procrastination on the academic performance of Grade 11
Students of Tagum Doctors College Inc.

Specifically, it aimed to answer the following questions:

1. What is the effect of procrastination on the academic performance of Grade 11 Students of

Tagum Doctors College Inc.
2. What are the factors that cause students’ procrastination?
3. Is there any significant difference of academic procrastination on the academic performance of
Grade 11 Students of Tagum Doctors College Inc. when they are grouped according to gender?

Research Objectives:

In this study, it aimed to accomplish the following objectives:

1. To determine the effect of procrastination on the academic performance of the Grade 11

Students of Tagum Doctors College Inc.
2. To discover the factors that causes procrastination on Grade 11 Students of Tagum Doctors
College Inc.
3. To identify if there is any significant difference of academic procrastination on the academic
performance of the Grade 11 Students of Tagum Doctors College Inc. when they are grouped
according to gender.
