● What is something from your day that you sensed taking you toward God ​(Consolation)​?
What were you feelings associated with this experience?

● What is something from your day that you sensed taking you away from God
(Desolation)​? What were you feelings associated with this experience?

● What is something from your day that you were able to be indifferent toward? What were
you feelings associated with this experience?

● What was something from your day that you realized you were not able to be indifferent
toward and/or it was extremely difficult for you to be indifferent toward? What were you
feelings associated with this experience?

WEEKEND​:​ ​Reflect on the following questions over the weekend.


● As you read back over what you wrote each day what does this begin to tell you about
yourself regarding things that tend to take you to God, things that tend to take you away
from God and things that are currently difficult for you to be indifferent towards? What
are you discovering about your internal awareness of your feelings?
