Sustainable Development Goals abbreviated as SDGs are a global agenda determined by
the United Nations and agreed upon by countries in the world for the good of society and the
surrounding environment. Starting in 2016-2030, this goal officially replaces the 2000-2015
MDGs. The SDGs are a follow-up to the end of the MDGs, which still leaves homework to be
completed until 2030.

From the table above, it can be seen that the percentage of the population who accessed
the internet in 2009-2019 was dominated by people living in urban areas, which was 78.58
percent in 2019. This figure was higher than the population living in rural areas which was only
58.68 percent. This is because most of the population who live in urban areas need internet
access in their education and work, ranging from opening e-mail, searching for information, or
even just open social media. Plus social media such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter are very
loved by the public in recent years.
