Newton's First Law

● An object will stay in motion unless hit by a unbalanced force

● An object will stay at rest unless hit by a unbalanced force

Example 1 Example 2
Explanation

The first picture shows us Newton’s First Law The second picture shows us Newton's
because it shows us that an object as rest will First law because it shows that an object
stay at rest unless struck by an unbalanced moving will stay moving unless hit by
force. The ball was at rest or not moving until a unbalanced force. The biker was going at
person kicked it. The ball has a less mass or a constant speed until he hit the brick
wall which has a bigger force due to its
weight than the person that kicked it that is why
mass. As soon as the biker hit the brick
it moved. If the ball had more mass than the wall he jumped out of the bike and fell on
person that kicked it than it would not have the other side of the wall. That picture is
moved. The first picture is a great example of a great example of Newton’s First Law.6
Newton’s First Law.
Newton’s Second Law
● The force applied on a object is determined by the mass of the object times the
acceleration of the object.
● It will be harder to push a object with a bigger mass than a object with a smaller object.

Newton’s Second Law because it shows
Second Law because it shows us that
us that there will be more force
there will be more force required to required to push a object farther than it
push a object with a big mass than a will take to push it just a bit. The guys
object with a small mass. A person push that is pushing the person on the
a object with a smaller mass way easily skateboard only had to give a little push
and way farther than he pushed the just to push him like a few inches, but he
object with a bigger mass. He wasn’t had to push him harder or push him with
a greater force to make him move like
able to push the object with a bigger
five feet or go very far. This picture is
mass that much and it was hard for him. also a great example of Newton’s

Newton’s Second Law.
Newton’s Third Law

● For every action there is a equal but an opposite reaction.

● You punch the wall and the wall punches you back with a equal but and opposite reaction
that’s why your knuckles sometimes bleed or hurt.
● Action Reaction

The first picture shows us Newton’s Third The second picture also shows us
Law because it shows us that for every Newton’s Third Law because it shows
us that for every action there is a
action there is a opposite but an equal
opposite but an equal reaction in a
reaction. The player swings the bat which
opposite way. Two people bumped into
results into the ball to go far. The player each other which is the action and them
swinging the bat is a actions and the ball falling down in a opposite direction is
going far was the reaction. The ball pushed the reaction. If there wasn’t an equal
out of the bat with the same force as the reaction in a opposite direction than the
player swinged the bat in the opposite way people would have bumped into each
other and would have fell on top of each
of the player. This picture is a great
other. This picture is a great example of
example of Newton’s Third Law. Newton’s Third Law of motion.
