Topic: What do you learn from MAMA Course Before & After

Khairul : Syahirah, we have learn mandarin in MAMA course for last 3

months now. Can you share with me what have you learn before and after
MAMA course?
Syahirah, wo men yi jing san ge yue xue jiang hua yu liao. Ni keyi gen wo
share mama course qian haiyou mama course hou, ni xue dao liao shen
mo ma?

Syahirah : Before this, I try to learn basic Mandarin through Youtube, but I
cannot commit to it.

Also, most of the time, I always thought that Mandarin is hard with very
complicated writing style.

I would never be able to learn this language.

What about you? Your first impressions about learning mandarin.

Khairul : I thought the same as well. And I also dont have any native
speaker friend, so I thought maybe I didnt need to learn this language.
Thats why during my uni time, I chose Japanese as my third language.
However, after joining the government sector, I realize that mandarin
language can be very helpful to communicate with chinese people.
Wo ye juede yiyang la.. wo juede ke neng wo bu xu yao xue jiang huayu.
yin wei wo mei you hua ren de peng you suo3 yi3 da xue de shi hou, wo
xuan3 Japanese for 3rd language. Dan shi wo xianzai zai government zuo
gong, wo fa1 xian4 gen hua ren jiang hua yu hen you bang2 zhu4.

Syahirah : Oh…

I think, after joined MAMA Class, it show the easiest way to learn Mandarin
and I know about Pin Yin.

Of course much easier, and I start to know about tones, and the correct
way to read pin yin, pronunciation.
My university friend also learn Mandarin at university, but he said, when he
try to speak with Chinese, they don't understand. I'm glad I learned thru
MAMA Class.

What about you now? After 3 month learn Mandarin with MAMA Class.

Khairul : I learned a lot after joining MAMA course. Before this I have zero
basic in Mandarin. I was surprised to see how much i have learnt during
this 3 months. I went from zero basic to be able to speak and understand
basic daily conversation. I believe this is due to the systematic MAMA
course. The live session were also very helpful and fun way to learn. What
about youuuuu?
Mama course guo hou, wo xue2 dao4 hen duo liao. Yi qian wo you zero
basic jiang hua yu. Wo hen surprise zhe ge san ge yue, cong wo you zero
basic dao ke yi jiang hai you hui yi dian jiang basic daily conversation. Wo
juede na4 shi4 yin wei MAMA course hen systematic. Quan bu de live
session hen you bang zhu haiyou hen hao wan2. Ni leh?

Syahirah : Im glad some of my friends can understand when I speak

Chinese, but.. Right now I still afraid to talk with strangers.

Live session really make me nervous, but I think it's a good practice to start
speaking. Its the same situation nervous to start speak with strangers.

After this, I'm worried Miss Lim won't be around for me to ask a lottttttts of
question.

Khairul : I hope after this course ends, we can still keep on practicing with
each other in the group and miss Lim can still help correct us. haha I also
am going to recommend this course to my friend so that I can have more
friend to practice with.
