Subject: RE IMP: Insights of Drugs effects & challenges in monitoring
Body:
Dear partner,
I am Mahesh from Sineflex Solutions, I will be one point of contact for all communication and
today wanted to touch base with your regarding the findings of our calls to different
pharmaceutical companies to develop a solution that helps monitor drug-related side effects.
I am pleased to inform you that we have found interesting & mentions below.
1. Multiple information channels are monitored for reports on drugs-related problems.
These channels are:
2. Call center (where patients call in to report an adverse reaction to drug)
3. Social media (patients posting on social media platform such as Twitter)
4. Monitoring of incidents logged across platform is a manual process and a significant
cost center for these pharma companies.
5. There is strong use case for natural languages processing-based AI system for
monitoring adverse reactions reports through call and social media. Such system can
create logs by through patients call/posts social media.
We have prepared a supporting research which will help you more to work on your
outcome such as basic step in pharmacovigilance case processing pharmacovigilance
comprises of
6. Safety data management
7. Signal detection for any new altered safety issues
8. Signal evaluation and making decision with regards to safety issues
9. Actions, including regulatory, to protect public health.
10. Inform all concern parties or stakeholders.
A valid case needs to have four elements: an adverse event, a reporter event, a reporter, a
patient, and a drug. Every report needs to be acknowledged, more so the valid reports.
Acknowledge establishes a contact with the reporter for more information whenever required.
It builds company image with the stakeholders and protect from litigation. A conscientious
report may continue to send the same report repeatedly until it acknowledges, hence this
simple action avoids duplications.
If you would like us to go in further deep in the research or you are happily satisfied with our
findings kindly write us back with details by 13th of March 2021 in either case. You can reach
