using radio broadcast to deliver the ALS programs. As a form of distance learning, it is
able to expand access to education by bringing it to where the learners are. It aims to
provide learning opportunities to listeners and enable them to acquire equivalency in
basic education through the broadcast of lessons. All the scripts and audio recordings are
aligned with the Most Essential Learning Competencies (MELCs). To allow students to
study based on their abilities to learn skills or competencies at their own pace. This
method is tailored to meet different learning levels that can lead to efficient learning
outcomes using alternative learning delivery modalities. It serves as a complimentary
learning while using their SLM in the absence of actual face to face interaction. Learners
