GUIDELINES FOR INTERNATIONAL CREATIVITY AND INNOVATION

COMPETITION

CHAPTER I
PRELIMINARY

A. Background
Higher education is an institution that produces graduates with an intellectual attitude.
Attitudes as inventors, integrators, implementers, as well as science and technology
developers. Therefore, students should have the characteristics of a dynamic academic life.
Which is reflected in the behavior and mindset of critical, creative, innovative, and
productive towards the phenomena of campus life and the surrounding environment.
These behaviors and mindsets are appreciated in the form of scientific activities, so
that these activities need to be fostered, developed, and accelerated so that students have
superior and reliable academic potential so that they are able and ready to compete in the
community, of course supported from various parties. Health Polytechnic Ministry of
Health Republic of Indonesia makes maximum efforts to play an active role in stimulating
and increasing student creativity by providing a forum that can be used to show and
promote creative products to the community and other stakeholders.
Health Polytechnic Ministry of Health Republic of Indonesia is a higher education
institution that organizes continuing education by developing innovation and as an agent of
change in society. Covering various fields of health, namely nursing, midwifery, physical
therapy and pharmacy, it is committed to improving the quality of education, especially
vocational education through educational activities based on innovative product outputs
that can spur talents to show their competence by providing media, one of which is by
holding an International Competition of Health Creative and Innovation.
In this regard, in order to improve the quality of students in the field of creativity and
innovation, we held an "International Competition of Health Creative and Innovation ".
Themes that will be contested include: nursing and midwifery, physical therapy, pharmacy
and other health.

B. Program Purpose
The International Competition of Health Creative and Innovation is intended to
accommodate students' creative and innovative ideas in the form of writing articles and
products that are pioneering and new and useful for the community. This International
Competition of Health Creative and Innovation aims to:
1. Develop students' abilities in writing innovative and creative articles and product
descriptions.

2. Provide opportunities for students to convey ideas or ideas on problems according to
their competence.
3. Increase the sensitivity and contribution of critical and innovative thinking.

C. Field of study
This activity facilitates student competence in the field of reasoning in Higher
Education through the International Competition of Health Creative and Innovation. The
scope of the study covers 4 (Four) categories:
1. Pharmacy (Pharmacy, Herbal Medicine, Anafarma)
2. Midwifery and Nursing
3. Physical therapy (Prosthetic Orthotics, Occupational Therapy, Acupuncture or other
similar majors)
4. Health Promotion

D. Program Output
The outputs of this International Competition of Health Creative and Innovation
are: Creative innovative products.

CHAPTER II
PROGRAM TERMS

A. Program Title
The name of this program is the International Competition of Health Creative and
Innovation of the Health Polytechnic of the Ministry of Health of Surakarta.

B. Requirements
To be able to take part in the International Health Creativity and Innovation
Competition, the Surakarta Health Ministry Polytechnic must meet the following
requirements:
1. Registered as an active Diploma or S-1 University student worldwide.
2. Individual participants or groups of 2-3 people in one university.
3. One university may send more than one group.
4. A student is not allowed to concurrently serve as the lead writer in another field group.
5. Articles in English

C. Registration Fee
Rp. 500.000, IDR / 34 USD each Group Via BTN - KASTA 01039-01-50-000376-8

A. Substance
1. The substance of writing is an applied idea in the form of articles and products that
have been tested through a series of research results.
2. The articles and products written can be in the form of a description, analysis, or
synthesis of applied ideas in the form of scientific innovation products.
3. The writing is supported by at least 5 scientific references, three of which are the result
of similar research.
4. The research methodology is analytical, without statistical analysis, so that the entire
article is a series of analyses of an innovative product idea along with product working
procedures that are being created and developed.B.

C. Jury
1. Jury Team from the Department of Pharmacy, Indonesia Traditional Herbal Medicine
and Pharmaceutical and food analysis
2. Jury Team from the Department of Nursing and Midwifery
3. Jury Team from Department of Occupational Therapy, Prosthetic Orthotics and
Acupuncture
4. External Jury Team: India, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia

Winners will receive trophies, certificates of appreciation, and prizes from the Health
Polytechnic Ministry of Health Republic of Indonesia

F. Systematics of Manuscripts/Articles
The systematics of writing scripts/articles are as follows:
1. Title
Research title/product name
2. Background

The origination of the title / research or starting point to provide understanding to
the reader or listener about what we want to convey
3. Research objectives
The purpose of doing research or the purpose of making a product.
4. Research method
The writing method presents the correct steps/procedures used in writing
scientific papers that carefully describe the methods/methods of collecting information
and/or data, analyzing information and/or data, drawing conclusions, and formulating
suggestions. Writing methods can include: writing approach, writing sources, writing
targets, writing stages.
5. Results
The result of research can be in the form of data or products that have been tested.
6. Discussion
The results of the research or the resulting product
7. Conclusion
Conclusions from research or product manufacture.
8. Bibliography
References/reference sources used in scientific writings.

G. Product Video Systematics for selected articles.


1. Video is a description that describes product details
2. The duration of the video is 3-5 minutes.
3. Use any type of camera with a minimum resolution of 800 x 600 px.
4. Videos that are entered in the competition are new, original works, not the result of
plagiarism and/or taking part of the copyrights of others.
5. The work has never been published or submitted to other video competitions.
6. If in the future there is a copyright lawsuit, the committee is not responsible for it, the
committee will assume that all the films that are submitted are the original works of the
participants.
7. The language that can be used in the whole video is English
8. Videos must not contain elements that are contrary to the laws and regulations in force
in Indonesia; Morals, morals, shamanism/mystics and certain SARA (Ethnic, Religion,
and RAS), violence, promotion of commercial products, and do not contain
pornographic elements.

H. Manuscripts/Articles and Product Videos Submission
1. Manuscripts/Articles and products are written according to the systematic rules that
have been set
2. Manuscripts/Articles and products are original works and have never been
published/participated in other competitions.
3. Manuscripts/Articles of the contestants are sent in PDF format while videos are in the
form of MOV/MPG/FLV/MKV/WMV to the following email address
poltekkes-solo.ac.id
4. Manuscripts/Articles and products from participants will be judged by judges from
each department according to the predetermined category

CHAPTER III
CLOSING

Thus, we submit this proposal, to be considered for participating in the International


Competition of Health Creative and Innovation of the Health Polytechnic of the Ministry of
Health of Surakarta. We thank you for all your time and attention.
