CHECK & ADJUSTMENT MAIN RELIEF VALVE

Check setting

1. Take off the backplate at the rear of the


machine.
2. Fit a pressure gauge on the minimess connector
situated on the left hand side of the control valve
(inlet section). (on picture = Prise de pression du
limiteur principal)
3. Heat up the oil of the hydraulic system. Oil
temperature should be minimum 60 °C to perform
this setting.
4. Action the lift movement. The reading should
be taken at maximum rpm (2450 rpm) and the
liftcylinder at the end of it’s stroke.
The main relief should be set at :
- 220 bars ± 10 Rexroth pump (aluminium body)
- 240 bars ± 10 Casappa pump (iron body)

Adjusting the main relief valve

1. Take off the plastic cap.


2. Take the pressure reading (see point 4).
3. Make the adjustment with an allen key (6 mm).
Turning the screw in will raise the pressure,
loosening the screw will reduce the pressure.
1 complete turn of this screw equals 100 bar.
