Table Set Up with Skirting and Center Piece

Specific Rules and Guidelines

1. Participant should wear the complete Food and Beverage Uniform.

2. Competing teams are required to bring things and materials to use in centerpiece (borrowing
things at HM Laboratory is allowed).

3. Name of the concept should appear in the station.

4. Points will be deducted from décor not in line with the theme.

5. A Menu folder will form part of the set up

6. There will be 2 points deduction in every inch that the set up exceed to the allotted area given.

7. Judges decision is final and irrevocable.

Criteria for Judging:

Creativity and relevance to the theme- 30%

General appearance and cleanliness

of the skirting and centerpiece- 25%

Proper use of the tableware- 25%

Relevance of the materials use in the theme- 20%

Total: 100%

Table Napkin Folding

Specific Rules and Guidelines:


1. All participants should wear complete Food and Beverage Uniform both male and female.

2. Each team entitled to send (1) participant for the said event.

3. Table napkin to use (size 20x20) to be provided by the contestants.

4. Participants will demonstrate the seven (7) basic fold as enumerated below and one (1) special
fold which they created themselves with the touch of the chosen theme.

Pyramid

Sailing Boat

Banana

Lotus

Bishop’s Hat

5. Participants will use their chosen music to use during their performance.

6. Participants will be given a time of three (3) minutes and thirty (30) seconds to demonstrate
both the basic and special fold.

7. One (1) point per violation will be deducted for the final show.

Criteria for Judging:

Technical napkin folding- 35%

Neatness/Orderliness- 20%

Creativity- 30%

Music/Synchronization of steps while performing napkin folding- 15%

Total: 100%
