• Rainwater Harvesting (RWH) – RWH and recharging of groundwater is emerging
as a sustainable strategy to cope with the increasing pressure on scarce freshwater
resources. RWH practices must be promoted nation-wide for secure water future
of our country.
• Components of RWH systems – the catchment; the collection system and the
utilization system
• CDI Technology – for having a safe, clean, and healthy drinking water with
essential minerals for human body as per the recommendation of IS10500 water
