I. Objective
a. Content Standard : The learners demonstrate an understanding of
ICT in the context of global communication for
specific professional track.
b. Performance : The learners shall be able to compose an
Standard insightful reflection paper on the nature of ICT in
the context of their lives, society, and
professional tracks (Arts, Tech-Voc, Sports, and
Academic).
c. Learning : Compare and contrast the nuances of varied
Competencies online platforms, sites, and content to best
achieve specific class objectives or address
situational challenges.

to practice washing and sanitizing their
hands before and after using their
devices.

 The teacher will remind the students to


practice safety and responsible usage of
ICT platforms and sites.

 The students will be divided into four


groups, each group will take turns in
discussing their answer.

guided queries based on the motivational
activity.

 Digital Native - is a person born or brought


up during the age of digital technology
and therefore familiar with computers and
the Internet from an early age.
 ICT – information and communication
technology deals with the use of different
communication technologies such as
mobile phones, internet, telephone,
computer and other devices to locate,
edit, and send information.
 Philippines the “ICT hub of Asia”
 The World Wide Web, commonly referred
to as WWW, W3, or simply the Web is an
interconnected system of public
webpages accessible through the Internet.
It was invented Tim Berners-Lee in 1989.
Web pages are what make up the World
Wide Web and it can either be static or
dynamic.
