Social work as a profession is continuously weakened, since a lot of people misunderstand this

kind of job and they have a lack of understanding about it. A lot of people usually think social
workers just interfere in people's lives but they didn’t know that if you want to be a social
worker, you need to have a bachelor’s degree or a master’s qualification first and have
registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. Social work could be a hands-on
profession that aspires to help individuals and families on how to handle or deal with different
problems they encounter. Social work gives people a chance to talk about social issues in a
moral way. They’re important because they make a stand each day for human rights and social
justice to help develop our communities.

Here in our country, social workers are very important. They are the ones who help Filipino
people with their problems that they cannot solve with themselves. They are the foremost
concern to the poverty-stricken individuals and their families, also the health of those
individuals who truly have no capability to buy medication. They also act as a go-between, a
great counselor, and they’re providing services to those Filipinos who are in need.

To conclude, being a social worker here within the Philippines could be exceptionally
challenging work, but in some way or another it is also a really fulfilling career. As we all know,
Filipinos are very helpful when it comes to their fellow men who are in need, since it is part of
filipino traits and values.
