access to it is essential. One of my nursing innovative ideas was a new electronic translator for a

floor I was working on. When we do not have an English speaking patients, it is sometimes

difficult to communicate their needs. There is a a new technology that can use an iPad and easily

translate for the patients and nurses right on the spot. Communication is essential for nurses to

provide optimal care for their patients. I feel technology is both innovative and crucial in

building a proper nurse-patient rapport and relationship.
