Does Social Media Improve or Hurt Our Society?

SOCIAL MEDIA IS INTERACTIONS AMONG PEOPLE WHICH THEY CREATE, SHARE,

AND EXCHANGE INFORMATION AND IDEAS IN VURTUAL COMMUNITIES AND
NETWORKS. HOWEVER, SOCIAL MEDIA ARE OFTEN BEING A BAD INFLUECE AND
BROKE OUR SOCIETY. AND HERE’S THE REASON WHY SOCIAL MEDIA CAN BE A BAD
INFLUENCE TO OUR SOCIETY.

CYBERBULLYING CAN OFTEN BE MORE DANGEROUS THAN TRADITIONAL

FORMS OF BULLYING. It can take place anywhere, anytime, and the bully does not need
to be face-to-face with their victim. Which means it can be more cruel and worse because we
can control them and they can do it with various way. So because of the various way and the
easiness, cyberbullying become normalized in our society and this is can hurt our society.

SOCIAL MEDIA CAN LEAD OUR SOCIETY TO ADDICTION AND OBSESSION

THAT CAN AFFECT TIME MANAGEMENTS. The addiction of social media could not be
more dangerous because you will be missed a lot of experience and moments that are more
usefull than just scrolling through instagram or tiktok. There’s so many things people can do
such as studying or just simply spending the time with your family.

UNFORTUNATELY, FALSE, MISLEADING, OR CONFUSING ONLINE CONTENT ARE

OFTEN FOUND ON SOCIAL MEDIA. This could be very dangerous because fake news can
destroy someone or brand reputation. Social media is a very “free” place to speak so it can be can
be detrimental if someone missused it.

In conclusion we know that social media harm our society into negative sides. It can be dangerous
in various way and there’s so many disadvantage of using social media.
