A. Using AutoCAD software, draw the required orthographic views of the objects
shown in the attached Figures and save as ID_QNo.dwg. For example, if your ID
is 1234 and you are working on question number 1, save as 1_1234_Q1.dwg.
B. Create proper layout with complete title block and plot on PDF. Save your file as

views, refer to the lecture notes on orthographic projection.
D. Centre the required views within the work area. Allow nearly equal space between:
• views
• views & borders.
E. Label the views appropriately. Unlabeled views will not be considered for marking.
F. Fully dimension the views.
G. Use a drawing sheet size, which is appropriate to your drawing - consider the
object dimensions, the drawing SCALE, the space between views and, margins
you want to leave.
H. Drawings should conform to the given SCALE.
I. All drawings should conform to ISO drawing standards.
J. Any construction/projection lines must be turned off in the layer before submitting
the drawings.
K. Written information on drawings:

FOR INDICATING ANY WRITTEN INFORMATION ON DRAWINGS, USE UPPER

CASE LETTERS (EXCEPT FOR UNITS, SUCH AS kg, mm, etc). AVOID BOLD
OR ITALIC STYLE.

A. The dimensions, as shown in the given figures, are enough to provide complete
size description of the given objects.
B. Correctly indicating the given dimensions on orthographic views would fulfil the
dimensioning requirements for this assignment. All the given sizes must appear on
your drawings. For rules and guidelines, refer to lecture notes on dimensioning
and tolerancing.
4. ASSUMING SIZES
A. Carefully review the given sizes. You don’t need to assume any sizes. Get it
