Rationale

Industries add many

harmful gasses into
atmosphere which is
ultimately destroying
ecosystem
Introduction

It is necessary to put our

attention in the problems
arised by air pollution to get
an effective solution.
Literature Survey
According to WHO

Around 2.6 billion use biomass for cooking

purposes.

In 2019, 99% of the world population was

living in places where WHO air guidelines
levels were not met.

WHO develops tools such as,

AirQ+
HEAT
STHAT
ITHIM
According to UNEP

39%: Still breathe polluted air in their own

homes.

7 million: People die every year.

470000: Premature deaths occur due
to Ground level O3.

UNEP has introduced International Day Clean Air for blue skies.
According to ICMR

Indian Data:

Household air pollution is caused by In 2017

residential burning of solid fuels

In 2018 : 95 people were killed due to air

pollution. 50% 50%
Life expectancy would have been 1.7 years
more if air pollution were in low limit. Deaths Below 70 Other deaths
years
India owns 14 out of 15 cities which are most
polluted cities across the globe.

PMUY provides LPG to household to reduce the air

pollution.
