MODULE #46

TOPIC: Geometry
INSTRUCTIONS:
A. Click the Google Meet link sent by your teacher in your GC and listen the discussion of the lesson.
B. To determine the relationships among points, lines, and planes. We define the following undefined
terms:
Point refers to the idea of an exact, fixed location. It has no size. Though not exactly, physical objects
like a tip of a pencil, the corner of a box, or a dot on a sheet of paper are models or representation of a
point.
Line is a set of infinitely many points arranged in a straight path which extends endlessly in opposite
directions. It has infinite length but no width nor thickness. Though not exactly, a tightly stretched
string, the edge of a table, and a crease of a folded paper are physical models of lines.
Plane is a flat surface that extends endlessly in all directions. It has infinite length and width but no
thickness. Though not exactly, a piece of paper, the surface of a floor, and an artist’s canvass are
physical models of plane.
C. Identify the idea (a point, a line, or a plane) represented by each phrase below. (30%)
1. Top of a box 6. Tip of a pen
2. Four corners of a room 7. A mole
3. Cable wire 8. Curtain rod
4. Star in the sky 9. Edge of a table

usage and purpose) paste your work in a 1/8 illustration board. (100%)
