ORDER

Vide reference cited 1, above, (Cl. 4(g)) so much of postal charge involved in supply of
information that exceeds fifty rupees shall be charged as fee for providing information
under RTI Act 2005.

Vide reference cited 2 and 3 above, university is in receipt of details of expenditure

incurred as Postal charge.

Vide reference cited 4 & 5 above, Standing counsel has provided a legal opinion that,
University can charge fees as stated in the note to standing counsel dtd. 25.05.2020 for
issuing copy of answer book to the applicant under RTI Act - 2005.

Hence Hon. Vice chancellor has accorded sanction to charge Rs.533/- as fee for
providing copy of one answer book to a student under RTI Act 2005 subject to ratification
by the syndicate.

Orders are issued accordingly.
