1. DESCRIBE THE LIFE OF RIZAL AS A YOUNG BOY. COMPARE HIS LIFE WHEN HE WAS
YOUNG TO OUR YOUNG BOYS TODAY.

 The life of Jose Rizal, like other young Filipino boys, had a lot of pleasant and beautiful memories to reckon
during his childhood days in Calamba. With parents full of affection and to their children and an abundant
blessing from Lord Almighty, he grew up in a home environment characterized by joy and contentment.

2. WHAT INSPIRED RIZAL TO WRITE HIS POEM, “IN MEMORY OF MY TOWN?” WHAAT
WAS THE MESSAGE OF THE POEM?

 His beloved town Calamba


 He was reminiscing the beauty of his hometown and recalling the times when he was so happy as
a young lad. He emphasized its beauty and the peace it had back then. He sacrificed his life in
accordance with his passion to bring back Calamba to its peaceful state again- far from the
destructed town that it went to be.

3. WHAT DO YOU THINK ARE THE EFFECTS – PSYCHOLOGICAL AND EMOTIONAL OF A


GOOD ENVIRONMENT TO A GROWING CHILD? EXPLAIN YOUR ANSWER?

 The effects of a good environment to a growing child is that they will grew up knowing how to
respect others, discipline and it will help them to have a better goals and motives in life.

4. AS A YOUNG BOY, WHAT WAS HIS BITTER MEMORY? WHEN YOU WERE A YOUNG
BOY LIKE RIZAL, CAN YOU REMEMBER AN UNPLEASANT MEMORY OR EXPERIENCE
IN YOUR LIFE? CAN YOU RELATE?

 Rizal’s first bitter memory was when little Concha whom he fondly called died when she was only
three years old.
 The unpleasant memory in my life is when my favorite grandmother died.

5. AS A STUDENT, WHAT ARE YOUR RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES THAT CAN PROVIDE FOR
SPIRITUAL NOURISHMENT?

 As a student, we conduct cell groups and bible studies in some schools in Dinalupihan to strengthen
each others spiritual life. And also we have Sunday afternoon youth service.

 Yes, because it ensures children are gaining the skills they need to become responsible adults

brother’s wife.

 To be presumed innocent until the contrary is proved beyond reasonable doubt.

 To be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation against him.

 To be present and defend in person and by counsel at every stage of the proceedings, from
arraignment to promulgation of the judgment.

 To testify as a witness in his own behalf but subject to cross-examination on matters covered by
direct examination. His silence shall not in any manner prejudice him.

 To be exempt from being compelled to be a witness against himself.

 6. To confront and cross-examine the witnesses against him at the trial. Either party may utilize
as part of its evidence the testimony of a witness who is deceased, out of or can not with due
diligence be found in the Philippines, unavailable, or otherwise unable to testify, given in another
case or proceeding, judicial or administrative, involving the same parties and subject matter, the
adverse party having the opportunity to cross-examine him.

 To have compulsory process issued to secure the attendance of witnesses and production of other
evidence in his behalf.

 To have speedy, impartial and public trial.

 To appeal in all cases allowed and in the manner prescribed by law.

 Due process is a fundamental principle of fairness in all legal matters, both civil and criminal, especially
in the courts. All legal procedures set by statute and court practice, including notice of rights, must be
followed for each individual so that no prejudicial or unequal treatment will result. While somewhat
indefinite, the term can be gauged by its aim to safeguard both private and public rights against
unfairness. The universal guarantee of due process is in the Fifth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution,
which provides "No person shall…be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law,"
and is applied to all states by the 14th Amendment. From this basic principle flows many legal decisions
determining both procedural and substantive rights.

10. HOW DID THE UNLAWFUL ARREST OF THE MOTHER OF RIZAL AFFECT HIS LIFE?

 Because of the injustice ,Rizal at an early age was awakened and to consecrate his life to combat evil forces of his
times at any cost even at the expense of his life.

years, the love interest of Maria Clara. Son of the deceased Don Rafael Ibarra; Crisostomo changed his
surname from Eibarramendia to Ibarra, from his ancestor's surname.
Elías
Ibarra's mysterious friend, a master boater, also a fugitive. He was referred to at one point as the pilot. He
wants to revolutionize his country. Ibarra's grandfather condemned his grandfather of burning a warehouse,
making Elias the fugitive he is.
María Clara
María Clara de los Santos, Ibarra's sweetheart; the illegitimate daughter of Father Dámaso and Pía Alba.
Father Dámaso
Also known in his full name as Dámaso Verdolagas, Franciscan friar and María Clara's biological father.
Don Filipo
