Title :Effect of Leaf Extract Purple (Graptophyllum pictum Griff) towards Healing

Hemorrhoids

Summary :

This thesis shows the effect of wungu extract on healing hemorrhoids. One way to cure
hemorrhoids is by using wungu leaf extract. The content of wungu leaf extract is alkaloids,
tannins, saponins, and flavonoids which are able to soften the stool not but until diarrhea
because the percentage of fiber content reaches 35% and is also able to reduce pain and can
relieve bleeding in the anus. This proves that Wungu leaf extract can treat pain in homeroid
disease

Comment :

After I read this thesis, I understood that Wungu leaf extract can be used as a treatment for
hemorrhoids, namely to treat pain and to relieve bleeding in the anus. In my opinion, the
results of this study should be disseminated because many people who suffer from
hemorrhoids do not know about this traditional medicine.

Title : The effect of (Zingiber officinale ) On Urat Acid Content In Arthritical hour patient in
the working area of salido health center of pesisir selatan district

Summary :

This thesis aims to determine the effect of red ginger consumption on uric acid levels in gouty
arthritis patients. This type of research is a Quasy Experiment study with a pretest posttest two
groups design. The number of research samples was 16 people, 8 people in the control group
and 8 people in the intervention group. Univariate and bivariate data were analyzed using the
Independent T-test. The results of the study the control group p = 0.003 and the intervention
group p = 0.002, it means that red ginger boiled water has an effect on reducing uric acid levels
in gouty arthritis patients.

Comment :

After I read this thesis, I understand that consumption of red ginger water decoction has an
effect on reducing uric acid levels in gouty arthritis patients. In my opinion, the results of this
study are distributed mainly to people who suffer from arthritis gout. Because most people do
not know this traditional medicine.

Title : EFFECTIVITY OF GIVING KELOR LEAF TEA TO DECREASING URIC ACID LEVELS IN ADULT
WOMEN

Summary :

This thesis shows the effectiveness of giving Moringa leaf tea in reducing uric acid levels in adult
women. This type of research is Quasi experimental with pre post test design. The sample in
this study were adult women who were present at the time of the study. The sample size in
this study were 48 respondents with 20 respondents having uric acid levels> 6 mg / dl and 28
respondents having normal uric acid levels. The analytical test used is the T-Test. The results
obtained were 0,000, meaning that Moringa leaf tea was effective in reducing uric acid levels.

Comment :

Future researchers For further researchers, it is hoped that they can improve the sampling
method and increase the number of samples used as research respondents

Title : THE FUNCTION OF CEKOK HERBAL MEDICINE IN THE INCREASING OF CHILDREN

WEIGHT

Summary :

This research purposes to know the function of cekok herbal and the benefits to weight gain in
children. Research Method: qualitative research, Colleting data is got from the family that give
the herbal medicine of cekok in toddler, herbal medicine maker, herbalist and paramedics. The
study was conducted by using qualitative approach. All of sequance or processing of qualitative
research took place simultaneously. The result: The ingredients Cekok has function to promote
the weight, there are : Curcuma aeroginosa, Curcuma xanthorriza robx, kaempferla galanga L,
Meniran Phyllanthus niruri, Zingiber americans, Carica papaya l, (curcuma domestica val), bitter
and rotten tempeh.

Comment :

The herbal clamp has been shown to increase appetite and body weight. The recommended
dose to increase appetite is 2 grams of dried ginger rhizome, made in the form of an infusion,
taken 2-3 times a day. The dosage for adults is 250-500 mg / day and for children 330 mg / day.

Title : Catalytic Activities of white turmeric extract as a cancer control

Sumarry :

This research aims to make white turmeric extract which is useful for curing diseases. The
method used in this research is experiment and direct catalytic activity test. The first stage is
carried out by making an extract from white turmeric. The direct activity test was carried out
with variations over the span of 10 times the ingestion. Experimental results prove that white
turmeric extract can cure these cancers. This healing is thought to be due to the catalytic
activity of white turmeric extract on the body's cells. This extract can cure cancer and
abdominal pain during menstruation after 10 times of drinking.

Comment :

In experiments it has been proven that white turmeric can cure cancer. A breast cancer survivor
proves that this is true. Successfully proved that after 10 consecutive drinks with the amount of
one glass every day, the cancer disappeared. So this research must be disseminated so that all
know about this traditional medicine.

Title :The Activity of Ethanolic Extract of Cyclea barbata Miers as Inhibitor of Bacterial Biofilm
Formation of Salmonella typhi

Summary :

This study aims to determine the activity of the Cyclea barbata Miers as inhibitor of S.typhi DT
104 biofilm formation. This study used Quasy Experimental design with completely randomized
design This study used 28 samples consist of 5 doses groups (0.29 mg/ ml, 0.33 mg / ml, 0.40
mg / ml, 0.50 mg / ml, 0.67 mg / ml), positive group (a bacterial suspension with H2O2) and
negative group (a bacterial suspension with H2O) The result showed that the increasing doseof
extract will decrease the biofilm formation revealed by decreasing of Optical Density and
showed One Way Anova test resulted p = 0.004. In conclusion, the ethanolic extract of Cyclea
barbata Miers was able to inhibit S.typhi DT 104 biofilm formation.

Comment :

Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the activity of green grass jelly leaves
(Cyclea barbata Miers) can inhibit the formation of biofilms in S.typhi bacteria in vitro. The
suggestion is further research on the effect of antibiofilms from green grass jelly leaf extract
against other Gram negative bacteria.

Title : COMPARISON OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF GIVING RED GINGER AND MINT LEAVES
WITH LINY ORANGE AND HONEY FOR Nausea and vomiting in TRIMESTER I PREGNANT WOMEN

Summary :

This study aims to determine the comparison of the effectiveness of red ginger and mint leaves
decoction with lime and honey on nausea and vomiting in first trimester pregnant women.
Quasi-experimental methods pre-test and post-test designs. The sample in this study was 22
respondents of first trimester pregnant women. Purposive Sampling is used for sampling. Data
analysis used the Mann-Whitney and Wilcoxon test. Based on the results of the study, the
mean value of red ginger and mint before and after 3.55 and 3.09, the mean of lime and honey
before and after was 3.35 and 2.09 with p-value (0.004) <α (0.05 ) and the calculated Z value: -
3.014.

Comment :

It is hoped that it can be used as input for health workers in midwifery services using
complementary therapies in reducing nausea and vomiting in trimester I pregnant women.

Title : Test for the effectiveness of herbal catalytic decoction of galangal rhizome as an active
ingredient in the inhibitor of Escherichia coli bacteria on the healing of diarrhea in toddlers

Summary :

This research contains about the utilization of galangal rhizome decoction as a traditional
medicine to cure diarrhea which acts as an inhibitor of Escherichia coli bacteria. The method
used in this research is experimentation and direct catalytic activity test. The experimental
results prove that the galangal rhizome stew can cure diarrhea with the optimum condition that
the galangal rhizome decoction is drunk as much as 6 tablespoons in three days. This worship is
thought to be due to the catalytic activity of galangal rhizome decoction to cure diarrhea.

Comment :

This decoction can cure diarrhea because of the active component in the galangal rhizome,
namely essential oil, which actively inhibits the development of Escherichia coli bacteria.
Galangal rhizome stew that works optimally after four days of consumption.

Title : THE USE OF CIRCULAR LEAVES (Annona Muricata L) TO KILL CANCER CELLS AND
CHEMOTHERAPY REPLACEMENTS

Summary :

This research shows that soursop leaves can kill cancer cells and substitute chemotherapy.
Phytochemical compounds that are members acetogenin like muricereacin and murihexocin C
has a power that exceeds the effectiveness of adreamycin (chemotherapy drugs). The result of
research of soursop leaf to kill cancer cells and replacement of chemotherapy. That compounds
may contribute acetogenin to kill cancer cells and derivate of acetoginin compounds can be
used as a substitute for chemotherapy and have activity to kill cancer cells.

Comment :

The acetogenins compounds found in soursop leaves have functions to kill various kinds of
cancer cells. Cis-annonacin has 10,000 times greater potency than adriamycin to treat cancer.

Tittle : effectiveness of lime juice in inhibiting the growth of escherichia coli (bacteria)

Sumary :

This thesis shows that lime can be used for cough medicine, sputum release, influenza, and
acne medication. Lime contains useful chemical compounds, one of which is essential oil and
flavonoids which function as anti-bacterial. Lime juice, which is the most effective in reducing
the amount of escherichia coli, is 90.2%. Antimicrobial test of lime juice against escherichia coli
for inhibition zone variations. The test uses the well diffusion method. Based on the linear
regression test, it was obtained a significant value of 0.000 <0.05 on the in vitro growth of
escherihia coli.

Coment :

After reading my thesis, I know a lot about the benefits, negative and positive effects that lime
juice can cure some minor ailments and can also treat skin problems, namely it can cure acne
on the face. I also know that the content of lime is one of the essential ingredients as an anti-
bacterial which plays a very important role in inhibiting bacterial growth
