Trailer 1:
TITLE
In the middle of the night (ambient lighting using a lamp beside her), Noor scrolls
through her TikTok (over the shoulder shot or split screen – source lighting of the
screen illuminating her face and can see the movement of the scrolling on her face)
finding ways to scroll from her school anxiety and depression (this could be reflected
through a long shot of her in school seeming isolated or by herself with her head bowed
down – demotivated, effortless).
[cut] She comes across a video involving a psychological game to relieve the stress of
school called “Red door, Yellow door.” She chants the rhyme and gradually falls into a
trance. Chant: ‘Red door, Yellow door, any other colored door’ and then in a trance
(said in a non-diegetic narration over images and cuts to her saying the last bit of the
chant). Extreme close-up of her lips saying this then cut to extreme close-up of her
eyes.
[fade transition] (Graphic shot) of her body laying down in an empty dark spaced room
with candles around her, where she wakes up from and wanders and finds a table that
says Choose Your Path and she chooses the red card that says Face Your Fears.
Through a POV angle as soon as she touches the red card, lighting goes red and so
does the door color.
[fade transition] Caption (Let the games begin). She runs across the hall but stops and
sees someone, in a steady off-shoulder angle it shows the girl in front of Noor bend
backwards and creepily walks towards Noor and Noor backs up.
[fade transition] (Mid-shot) Noor hiding behind a pillar/corner shaking and quivering and
towards the offscreen sound of balls bouncing down the stairs, she slowly turns.
(Camera does a slight pan) Suddenly, Noor gets pulled off screen. (Caption Fears
control You)
[fade transition] Flashing imagery of herself as a depressed sad girl on the floor crying
in a corner, flash backs of her shown in-between- of her crying in the school bathroom.
(Caption “This October”)
[fade transition] (Close-up) of Noor crying under the stairs and suddenly papers start
falling on her that says F. This is shown through a bird’s view angle. Caption (some
doors should never be opened)

TITLE
The red door appears, in front of Noor (shown by Pov), (non-diegetic) Chants can be
heard, repeating the phrase “Red Door, Yellow Door, any other color Door”, each time
getting louder and louder. (The screen goes black, silent.)
[fade transition] She wakes up from the alarm (non-diegetic sound), going off screen to
turn it off. and she gets ready for school. Noor takes her time in getting ready for school
as she is being very lazy and slow. (With a non-diegetic school bell ringing) She finally
arrives at school and sits in a seat for class. The bullies come into class (through mid-
shot) and bully Noor into getting out of her seat.
(Close-up) Hat is placed on the table, mid-shot revealing the teacher writing on the
board, below “Detention” he writes Noor’s name, “No homework, again”, (Cut) Places
her exam paper on her table (Extreme close-up) showing her “F”, his voice being heard
offscreen “work on it, or you aren't passing this year”. Noor leaves the class (hand held
camera). She enters the bathroom and bursts into tears in one of the stalls.
[fade transition] She gets ready for bed and watches tiktok videos and comes across the
viral video going around on the game “Red door, Yellow door or Any other color door.”
[Fade transition] Noor’s face shows as the door glows red in high angle.
[Cut] Noor runs in the hallways through a pan.
[Cut] Serena shows up in the pool through a Mid-shot
[Cut] Noor finds her duplicate depressed self through an off-shoulder angle while non-
diegetic ominous music plays.
