think exhibits more than three training principles. Write your answer on the
space provided. (10pts)

Set 2 Set 3
Lateral P lank Tucks Toe touches

Set 1 Bear Dog Series Russian Twits Set 4

STARTING

For me, the lateral plank tucks are exhibited more than three training principles. It
because it shows more than three training principles which are specificity, progression,
overload, variation, and reversibility. It shows that the athlete doing a hard training
activity that he is doing beyond the normal training that he does to increase his strength
and endurance, also the athlete already developed their ability that they can do attain
new levels of fitness to ensure better performance. That it gets better at what they do
but at the same time, it needs to maintain the training and have proper rest.

Situation: Ana is 18 years old first year student of Kuya National High School.
She has a 40kg of weight, 130cm of height and been inactive of any physical
activity. She wanted to improve her physical activity for her to develop her
fitness. Fortunately, one of the tasks given by their teacher was to create a
personalized sample of training plan.

Instruction: As a teacher of Ana, analyze her sample of training plan if it is

achievable and appropriate for Ana’s fitness status. Write your answer on the
space provided.

Name: Ana Mae Dicol Year/section:

Sample training plan

s
Exercise Frequency Intensity Time Type

Planking 2 times a week Moderate 45 minutes Aerobic

Exercise
Jogging 3 times a week hard 2 hours Core training

4 times a week easy 1 hour Flexibility

Push-Up 50 reps.
Curl up Once a week easy 1 hour Endurance
25 reps. training

As a teacher the example training plan of Ana is achievable but, it is not

appropriate for her, especially for the time she has taken because since Ana is not
active in doing her exercise. Through this, it might cause her injuries if she will be doing
too much time. Even though Ana's weight is good for her height, she still needs a
healthy lifestyle and daily exercise routine for her to have healthy and active in every
activity. I can suggest that to re-change her time in doing exercise because it is too
much for her and it should be a proper time, especially that her body is not physically
active. Also, to avoid any deconditioned and weak. And all the types of her exercises
are good and good for her body.
