I would have to say my favorite part of the book is when Louis and Claudia arrive in Paris and finally

meet other vampires that can think. It really opened up the potential for meaningful character
interaction and opportunities. They can make friends or enemies here that actually kill Louis and
Claudia. The part I was not very attracted to was the beginning of the story. It seemed hard to follow at
first but I think that was because of the very detailed descriptions and complex vocabulary. I was able to
get more into it at when I was a third of the way in.
