Wheebox Exam Browser

Refer to the LINK shared below to download Wheebox Exam Browser before exam.

Once you have already downloaded the browser, on the date of test, you will just have to open the
exam on this browser. Refer to candidate login process shared in the document below.

Preferred browsers: For taking the test, recommended browsers are Google Chrome (Ver. 75 or
above), Mozilla Firefox (Ver. 70 or above). THIS WILL NOT WORK ON MACBOOK OR A MOBILE
PHONE. THIS WILL ONLY WORK ON WINDOWS OPERATING SYSTEM. (UPDATED VERSION)

System Requirements –

The system configuration required to run as a user system is shared below –

• Windows 7/8/10 Operating System

• Minimum 2 GB RAM

• Minimum 40GB Hard Disk Memory

• Minimum Core2 Duo processor.

• Minimum 1.4GHz clock speed

• Google chrome 70 and above/Mozilla Firefox 70 and above Browser

• Antivirus should be disabled on this system.

• Dotnet 4.5 must be installed on the user system.

For WEB to function properly on your computer, please make sure that:

• WEB has administrative rights on the system. At the time of installation, please install WEB as
administrator.

• Windows is Updated.

• System and network firewall should be disabled for best experience.

• Anti-virus is disabled.
If Wheebox Exam Browser is not downloaded beforehand, you will get an option to download the same on
the day of exam and it will consume your time. Process as follows-

On selection of a test, the following page will be displayed. If “Wheebox Examine Browser” is not
installed, click on the “Download” button.
On clicking the Download button, the system will prompt to store the WEB setup file in the default
downloads folder.

The WEB setup will start downloading. In a few minutes, the WEB setup will finish downloading.
Once the WEB setup is downloaded, go to the downloads folder and double click on the setup file.

The following screen may be displayed. Click on “Run” on this prompt.

The WEB setup will start installing.

Click on “Next” when prompted by the installation Wizard. The WEB will be installed in the default
Program Files.
You will be notified on successful WEB installation.

When you login again using the same login credentials, the system will prompt you to open the
Wheebox Examine Browser. Click on “Open Safe Exam Browser” when prompted to start the test in
Wheebox Examine Browser.
 Frequently Asked Questions
Question - Will my running applications be closed before the test starts.

Answer -Before the test starts in SEB, SEB will forcefully close all the running application after your
confirmation. If you need to save ongoing work in any of the applications, you can do so by clicking “Cancel”,
going back and saving your work. After that, you can come back and restart your test from where it was left.

Question - What if SEB is not able to close all the applications running in the background.

Answer - If the SEB is not able to close all the application(s) running in the background, you need to close the
application(s) manually. You can do so by going to the Task Manager.
Question - I am getting the following screen when the SEB is launched. What Should I do?

Answer -This error is encountered when SEB is not able to connect to Wheebox Servers due to any
restrictions in the System or network firewall. Temporarily disabling the System and network firewall and
restarting the system after that will help in this case.
