Communication and Professional relationship with Children, Young People and Adults

1.1

Listening is clearly the most important manner in which a respectful, but also professional
relationship with a child person is established

The teacher assistant should explain why they say a rule is broken and why punishment is
necessary. The TA should also behave according to the behavior’s policy of the company. Also
must follow regulations and make suitable punishments.

A TA must make a professional effort to learn children’s names, their correct pronunciation and
also correct spelling. In this way, this is showing to the children that the TA has a personal
interest in the communication to them.

1.2

 Observe the situation. If the dispute seems has an origin from the teacher. We must get
as much information as we can. We must also question other parents whose children are
in the teacher's class for their opinion. While a child's complaints may be on place, he or
she may be giving a lot of effort with a new teaching style or has a wish to move in a
class were his friends are.
 Listen carefully. We must get the facts straight, so we ask the child questions with open
end. Also we must follow up with asking for certain examples which tell what we are
dealing with. Is it something personal? Is it an academic problem? He or she just needs to
get his problems off his chest. Sharing with us may help him or her to consider the
situation from different angle.

1.3
Children are occupied with developing their minds as they understand their independence and
decrease their dependence on their families. With their increased level of independence, children
will, in the same time, experience an increase of their responsibility, they will make choices and
start to have some kind of expectations. Most children will eventually get chores and tasks, such
as cleaning their toys, or will help with household and kindergarten chores. This can be found
sometimes difficult for the children. But if you, as a teacher assistant make decisions and split
the chores among the children, and in accordance to the age of the child.

A huge part of becoming a great mentor is our ability in making connections with the tough
children. Since these children sometimes don't have anyone as a good role model to guide them
or having an interest in their everyday lives, have a good and positive conversation about
children’s future or dreams. Don’t forget how important the teacher can be in helping to the
children to develop academically and also socially. We, as teachers, make a difference and show
that we care about that kind of children. Teachers must be proactive and engage them in every
day’s activity, instead of uninterested. The purpose to being a good mentor is in availableness,
and trustworthiness. Several years with a great teacher can have a lasting impact on a tough kid.

2.1

There are two types of relationships we have to consider in our efforts in build a strong
professional relationship with adult coworkers and other staff during our work experience. These
are congenial relationships and collegial relationships. A congenial relationship is our more
personal relationships we should try to have with our co-workers. A collegial relationship is our
working relationship with our colleagues and how well we interact in our education team.

Some practices that help create collegial relationships are: talking to each other about other
teacher’s practice, sharing our crafty knowledge, giving each other a possibility to observe while
we work, support our colleagues and promote shared success.

2.2

Relationships with colleagues and teachers are important for a child’s development and
achievement. Good relationships with mentor teachers can protect children from gaining
emotional and behavioral problems, and those can interfere with their academic success later on.
When children feel accepted by peers, they are benefiting from emotional support, also gain a
sense of belonging. If the influence of the peer is positive depends to some influence from the
group’s norms and values. Children in pro-social peer groups, also highly engaged in school, are
most likely to discuss about schoolwork in the given peers group.

We're looking for someone who can explain design ideas to the average person. With
that in mind, please write a few sentences about this picture.

A contemporary room, ideal for your artistic teenager. Leather pillows, in combination
with the cold white walls gives this room a simple and extravagant feeling. Wast and
comfortable bed with grey quilt and black and white paintings is the room of the dreams
for two chromatic lovers.
What about this one? Please write a few sentences.

Like a lighthouse, the windows allow nature to enter the nature in this room. The brown
laminate adds to the nature feel even more. A comfortable white sofa in front of a grey
fireplace matches for long conversations of a huge family. Accessories are well arranged.
Spacious and beautiful room, with a touch of contemporary elements, like the big screen.
