BBA 4 Years

i. Introduction:
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program is offered to those having 12
years of education. The BBA program is of 4 Years duration, spread over 8 Regular
Semesters and consists of 124-136 Credit Hours. The primary aim and underlying
philosophy of the program is to focus on the promotion of managerial skills and to
develop competency by introducing students the contemporary ideas primarily in
the area of Management, Marketing, Finance and HRM. The importance of
developing problem solving and communication skills is emphasized, which enable
students to improve their understanding to deal with complex business issues.
Students on completion of BBA program are eligible to apply for admission in MBA
and MS programs.

ii. Program Objectives:


The program is aimed to attain the following objectives & goals;
1. To inculcate business skills and capabilities in undergraduate students having
different backgrounds, for example pre-medical, pre-engineering, humanities
and computer studies etc.
2. To impart/share business knowledge so that they can successfully perform
various managerial responsibilities.
3. To sharpen analytical skills so that they could make intelligent and effective
decisions.
4. To develop entrepreneurial skills and promote creative thinking so that they may
start their own businesses.
5. To produce graduates that could professionally contribute toward industrial and
economic development.

iii. Eligibility Criteria:


For admission in BBA program;
i. The candidates who have passed their Intermediate Examination OR equivalent
from a recognized Board, securing at least 45% Marks in aggregate are eligible to
apply.
ii. The candidate who have earned Associate Degree (ADP) in Business
Administration or related disciplines with minimum of 2.20 CGPA will be eligible
to join 5th semester of BBA after fulfilling the admitting University requirements.
iii. The candidates who have done “O level” and “A level” are required to submit
IBCC equivalence certificate at the time of submission of application.

iv. Internship:
The student will be required to undergo 9 Weeks Internship in any National OR
Multinational Organization of repute during summer vacation (after 4th Semester).
The Internship will be a non-credit activity/task, however, the student will be
required to submit Internship report (on specified format) within 30 days (one
month) at the successful completion of internship. The internship report, progress
and performance of the internee will be evaluated by the panel of examiners. The
evaluation of internship shall be made on the basis of Pass/Fail and there shall be
no grading/marks for the internship.

v. Degree Requirements:
The following are an essential requirements for the award of Degree;
a. Successful completion of 124-136 Credit Hours.
b. Maintaining a minimum CGPA of 2.0 in all semesters and attaining a minimum
CGPA of 2.20/4.0 at the end of 8th semester.
c. Successful completion of minimum 9 weeks internship in an
Industrial/Business/Commercial Organization.
d. Successful completion of Comprehensive Examination. The evaluation of the
Comprehensive Examination shall be made on the basis of Pass/Fail. There shall
be no grading/marks for Comprehensive Examination.
e. Compliance of University Uniform Semester Rules & Regulations in true letter
& spirit.

vi. Number of Seats:

b. Number of intake: 02 (Morning/Evening).
