Title: Correct use of national symbols including flags, anthems and


military salutes
Performance Objective: Given the appropriate use of national symbols
including flags, anthems and military salutes

Supplies/Materials : CBLM

Equipment: Flag, Flag Pole


Steps/Procedure:
1. Perform the National Anthem and the Pledge of the Flag.
2. During the flag raising ceremony, the assembly shall stand in
formation facing the National Flag. At the moment the first note of the
National Anthem is heard, everyone in the premises shall come to
attention; moving vehicles shall stop. all persons present shall place
their palms over their chest, those with hats shall uncover, while those
in military, scouting, security guard, and citizens military training
uniforms shall give the salute prescribed by their regulations, which
salute shall be completed upon the last note of the anthem.
3. During the flag lowering, the National Flag shall be lowered solemnly
and slowly so that the flag shall be down the mast at the sound of the
last note of the National Anthem. Those in the assembly shall observe
the same deportment or shall observe the same behavior as for the flag
raising ceremony.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND PREPARE AS NECESSARY:


1) The Trainees will:
a. Provide for the necessary tools, equipment, supplies and materials.
(Please refer to List of Tools, Materials and Equipment). In cases
wherein the trainees intends to use his/her own
materials/supplies, tools and instrument, the Assessor must check
the appropriateness of the candidate’s own materials/supplies,
tools and instrument.
b. Set-up the demonstration area.
c. Provide the trainees copy of the Instruction for Demonstration For
Trainees.
d. Ensure that the trainees FULLY understands the instruction
before proceeding to the performance of the task.
e. Ensure demonstrations of tasks shall be performed according to
the given Instruction for candidate.
f. Allow 15 minutes for the trainees to familiarize him/her/self with
the resources to be used in this demonstration.
g. Ensure that the trainees is wearing appropriate personal protective
equipment before allowing him/her to proceed with the task.

Demonstration Checklist if the trainees was able to perform the
tasks specified in the Demonstration Checklist:
