WHY DO I LOVE IT ?

It is easy to use and can be stored anywhere. It

boils a glass of water under a minute and has a
maximum capacity of 1.7 litre. The red light
indicator helps in knowing that the kettle is
switched on. Being a student, I do not have access
to a stove and hence the kettle comes in handy.

WHY DO I USE IT
EVERYDAY ?

This is the first object that I use every morning

since I have a habit of drinking hot water as soon
as I wake up.

Getting rid of the separate base & power cord to

improve portability. Since I use kettle to have a glass
of hot water, this design is the size of a glass.

Changing the glass-size concept in Idea #1 to having

a touch screen ON/OFF switch with red light

body and rubber grip. Adding a button on kettle grip
to open lid of kettle without any touch.

BLUETOOTH CAN SERVE AS AN
ALARM TOO

In-built bluetooth would allow users to have a

completely touch-less experience by using their
phone in one room to boil water in the kettle kept in
another room. A clock display could also prove useful
as it could send constant reminders to stay
hydrated.

HEATING ROD

Here, I have changed how we look at a kettle's body

as well as utility. Instead of having water inside the
kettle, I have the "kettle" inside a glass of water. The
heating element in the rod aka kettle would get hot
and boil the water. The top/grip is made up of rubber
to provide insulation. The ON/OFF switch is touch
screen with red light indicator. This model is battery
operated and the batteries would go in the grip part
of the model.
