OASIS - PROJECT OVERVIEW

PROJECT OBJECTIVE
To design and manufacture a multipurpose flask bottle incorporated with a built-in
Bluetooth speaker with power bank, UV purifying lid, and SOS flashlight.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE PROJECT

Oasis is a groundbreaking concept of a flask constructed with multiple features in

light of serving its purpose as a go-to companion during outdoor adventures.
Generally, it is a portable device that can fulfill the basic needs of people inclined to
travel. It aims to penetrate the marketplace with the common knowledge of conjuring
up different ways of devising a simple flask into a more resourceful and useful one.

The Oasis flask is divided into three main parts with different components in it. At the
top part of the flask, three devices are installed: the flashlight that can modify the
illumination, SOS, and the UV purifier. On the other hand, the flask itself is double
walled and insulated which functions as the body since it holds all the components.
Also, a water filter is installed inside to ensure that the water is of the highest quality.
Moreover, named as the bottom attachment, it is where the detachable devices are
placed, including the power bank and Bluetooth speaker.

Vacuum-Insulated Tumbler/Flask ➢ It serves as the body of the entire

product since the added features are

being attached to it.

➢ It mainly holds the water, be it in a hot

or cold state, with the purpose of

taking it while traveling or when the

user is far from a source of drinkable

water.

Built-in UV Purifier ➢ It is a bottle lid that has a fixed UV

filter in it.

➢ It is an innovative water purifier that

uses ultraviolet (UV) radiation to

eliminate most kinds of bacterial

contamination from the water.

Water Filter > A detachable layer of filtration was

added to the inside of the flask to

ensure that any stored liquid is free of

any visible particles that can affect its

quality.

Flashlight ➢ It is a circular portable light source

that illuminates the surrounding,

whether outdoors or indoors.

➢ It surrounds the bottle lid for better

levels of lighting.

➢ It is designed with a button to change

its mode from an ordinary flashlight to

SOS mode:

○ SOS Mode - it glows

accurately enough to generate

the Morse code symbol "S-O-

S" (3x short, 3x long, 3x short)

○ Strobe Mode - an annoying

glare effect triggered by light

flashes at frequent intervals

 SOS ➢ This feature is a portable warning

instrument for immediate notice done

by the user.

➢ It has higher visibility than the normal

light, since red color easily captures

public attention.

Built-in Powerbank ➢ It is a compact device installed at the

bottom part of the flask.

➢ It serves as a power back-up for

cellular phones while being on the

move.

Built-in Bluetooth Speaker ➢ It is a portable audio device used for

convenient listening of songs or even

podcasts that is connected through

Bluetooth.

➢ It is also installed at the bottom part of

the flask, joined with the powerbank.
