Bakeshop: Breads and Cakes

Customer – I will sell the most common and loved breads such as pandesal, monay, pan de
coco, ensaymada, spanish bread, putok, tasty load bread, etc. For the cakes, I will also sell the
most common Filipino flavors such as chocolate, ube, mocha, banana cake, yema cake, etc.
These flavors are the preference of most Filipinos of all ages, my target customers.
Organization – a manager, four bakers, and a cashier. The manager was promoted to the
position for being an excellent employee.
Supplier – the main supplier will be Puratos, an intermediary that will deliver all the ingredients
from different brands and suppliers to my shop.
Market – somewhere in TS Cruz, Las Piñas where there are no other bakeshops. The bakeshop
market is quite big but, in my location, my bakeshop will be the first one so it does not need to
be huge immediately.
Intermediaries – from supplier to me, Puratos is my intermediary. While from my shop to the
customers, they can pick it up from the shop or it can be delivered by GrabFood.
Competitors – my competitor will be the nearest bakery, but well-known bakeshops such as
Red Ribbon and Goldilocks will not be within a kilometer radius from my bakeshop. For the
suppliers, Puratos will not be affected by the large demand because they get the supplies from
multiple suppliers.

Political – my bakeshop will respect the rights of my employees and customers. We will give
their full compensation and benefits, while serving clean and safe food with a kind and
respectful service.
Economic – my capital will not exceed Php 50,000 and today is actually a very good time to loan
from banks because of the record low interest rate of 2% (TRADING ECONOMICS, n.d.).
Social – we will make customized cakes to show our support for positive movements such as
cleaning the ocean (i.e., TeamSeas).
Technological – we will receive orders online through our Facebook page where we will also
advertise online.
Legal – no law available that prohibits any part of my bakeshop business.
Environmental - We will also make sure to be ecofriendly from producing our products to
disposing waste properly. The municipal garbage truck will regularly pickup our trashes.
