Education in times of Pandemic

In history, the pandemic is not new to humanity and it has affected millions of life,
institutions, and opportunities. One of the superstructures that have been affected by the
pandemic that the world is facing right now in the field of Education. Education in this sense was
trivialized and its effect has been highly felt by everyone who is into the academe. Specified
practices were adjusted and deliveries were modified to still serve their functionality in delivering
high-quality education for all the learners.
Pandemic was never being anticipated and has never been expected. As a result,
everyone was not ready and prepared when it hits humanity in the year 2019. In totality, there
was a lot of adjustment that was imposed by the government and along with this adjustment are
the modifications in most of the deliveries of education. Unready and unrehearsed, people who
are in the academe need to do something to still cater to the learning and teaching process of
teachers and learners as well. This situation has challenged everyone to move forward even if
there were lapses and there were still a lot of things that are needed to be prepared. Some
institutions have given their initiatives in terms of getting over ad failing the expectations of
parents and students in this time of the pandemic. These changes also include some
modifications in terms of deliveries and practices in education. These steps are made to
continue the process of learning even in times where effectiveness is challenged.
However, behind these challenges; a lot of skills and potential were unleashed. Students
became more creative and strategic using their capabilities. Thru the different modes of
technology, students find ways to cope with these advancements. Moreover, potentials in terms
of creativity had also been observed in the field of education. Some teachers meaningfully
transitioned from using some of the traditional ways of delivering the lessons into a more well-
defined way. Such ways include an online mode of delivery and the use of technological
advancement.
Thus, education during the pandemic was considered unimaginable but because of
inventiveness and resourcefulness, this field has moved forward and unbowed though there
were tons of halls in its way. With pandemic, though there were changes, adjustment, and
adaptation has opened a lot of possibilities and learnings that may be used to strengthen some
practices that even without pandemic, it could still be utilized.
