This topic is relevant to the audience (communication 205 students) because this is one among the
essential skills that a student must develop in order for them to successfully reach out and build
connections to other people. Its importance is not just also limited to being a student but also in the
near future, the reality is needed to be faced with effective communication skills in order for someone
to achieve his goals and visions especially in career.

In addition, this will be very useful for students in studies and in real life. As the years passed by, the
demands for effective communicator also rise. Therefore, this speech will give contribution not just for
today’s use but also for the future.

Why are you able to give a speech on this topic? What is your credibility?

Answer: I am able to give speech about this topic because I am a student taking up the course subject
Communication 205. In this subject, I have gained understanding about communication. I have also
learned what are some of processes of communication. I believe I am also credible to discuss this topic
since I am also applying communication skills in my daily basis and I adhere with the idea that real life
experiences teach us the best lessons.
