Create a basic outline of the IM. Include the main elements (the key
concepts to be learned, as well as the activities that will be
experienced). Within the outline, sequence the key concepts:
First, my students will be seated at their computers in a computer
lab. Then, the students will log into their computers and go online to
the PowerPoint that I created. They will have 20 minutes to interact
with the PowerPoint and view videos and receive explanations on how
to learn with phonics. The end of the PowerPoint will take the students
for a Google Forms, where the students will test their knowledge of
spelling with a quiz. The Google Forms will assess the students
progress and will record their answers for the instructor to view. The
end of the Google Forms will take the students to a website that
includes a phonics game. The students may play the game until the 20
minutes are up.
