You have 48 hours or until ________ (date), at _______ (time) to

remove any belongings you wish to keep.

IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO REMOVE YOUR BELONGINGS WITHIN 48 HOURS

ANY ITEMS LEFT BEHIND COULD BE DISCARDED

IF YOU NEED ASSISTANCE or require more than 48 hours to remove your property, you may request an
accommodation by contacting 311 (509-755-2489) or appearing in person at City Hall (808 W. Spokane Falls Blvd.,
Spokane, WA 99201), Monday-Friday between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm. Requests should be made as soon as possible.
The City might not be able to accommodate the request, and any requests made less than 24 hours before the cleanup
might not be heard. After the 48-hour notice period, if the City does not clean up the site within five business days, this
notice will be disregarded. A new notice may then be posted.

REMAINING ITEMS WILL BE DISCARDED OR STORED per the City’s Encampment Removal and Cleanup Policy. Items
will not be stored if hazardous, likely to become hazardous, practically un-storable, contraband, stolen, or unsafe to collect
and store. Items on the City’s list of common items campers regularly abandon usually will not be stored. You may call 311
(509-755-2489) or visit City Hall (808 W. Spokane Falls Blvd., Spokane, WA 99201) to inquire whether unclaimed items
were stored. If items were stored, Campers will be referred to Code Enforcement to schedule an appointment to retrieve
their belongings. Items in storage will be kept for up to 60 days and then discarded if not retrieved. Campers may retrieve
their belongings without fear of arrest solely on the basis that they are retrieving their belongings.

TO AVOID LOSS OF PROPERTY IN ENCAMPMENT REMOVALS always try to keep valuables in visible, sanitary, and
safely accessible bags or bins.

The officer signing below certifies and declares under penalty of perjury under the laws of the State of Washington that
