CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION

8.1 GENERAL:
This Chapter summarizes the major issues and provides the recommendations of
reconstruction of road with 2 lane carriageways configuration from 0.000 km to 11.380 km of
Chhapiheda-Nalkheda road.

8.2 PROPOSED ALIGNMENT:

The existing road is being upgraded to 2 lane road configuration. The proposed alignment
follows existing road. It was intimated that no land acquisition will be involved in this
package funded by ADB VI-VII scheme. All geometry improvement will be confined within
the ROW.

8.3 ROB / INTERSECTIONS / UNDERPASSES:

There are no ROB, LUV, LUVP proposed on the projected alignment but 1 major
intersections & 7 Minor intersections are proposed to be improving on the Project Highway.

8.4 PAVEMENT
The design standards adopted are as per IRC 37-2018 for Flexible Pavement and IRC 58-
2015 for Rigid Pavement. Pavement composition details are given in the Development
Proposal’s chapter.
