    Analytical Research Guidelines and Outline

    Paragraph #1 – Analyze the title of your novel, analyze your author’s life, and the era of the novel

    Paragraph # 2 – Introduce protagonist of your novel with background info

    Paragraph #3 - Write about what happened with the protagonist during the beginning of your novel

    Paragraph #4 - Write about what happened with the protagonist in the middle of your novel

    Paragraph #5 – Write about what happened with the protagonist at the end of the novel (outcome)

    Paragraph #6 – The writer believes statement… A brief compare/contrast from the novel’s end to today
    with your opinions

    Remember:

    1. You are only analyzing (symbolically breaking down) the first and last paragraphs

    2. This entire submission is 3rd person narrative.

    3. Quote and cite once per page from your novel.

    4. Check your spelling, grammar, length, content, etc. Proofread before submitting for a final grade.
