Evidence: Calling 911

Complete the following dialogue. Then, retell the story to a friend. Imagine you
have a medical emergency at home with one of your relatives and you are
making a phone call to 911. Do not forget to keep in mind the correct way to
report instructions and requests to write your composition. The first line is done
as an example.

Operator: 911, What’s your emergency?

You: my friend had an accident, she fell when she was
getting off a bus and hit her head and has bruises all
over her body.
Operator: Is the person unconscious?
You: yes
Operator: What’s his/her name and age?
You: his name is Carlos and he is 45 years old
Operator: What’s your address?
You:25th Street 86-34 the palm trees
Operator: Got it. An ambulance is on its way.
You: thank you very much, what can I do to help Carlos,
he is desperate, and I want to calm him down while the
ambulance arrives?
Operator: You must keep calm
You: I am trying, I try to keep him still but he only
complains about the intense pain he is in.
Operator: Don’t hang up until the ambulance is there.
You: I'll be on the line
Operator: Ok. That’s all I can do for you.
You: thank you so much
 Carlos and I were on the bus on the way home and we were a
little worried because it was his wife's birthday and we were a
little late and far from home, Carlos slipped from the stairs of
the bus when it was time to get off, and the bus was still
moving, I dragged it about 3 meters, hitting my head against a
platform, leaving me unconscious. I got very scared and called
the emergency line immediately, the operator who attended me
was very patient. when was registering the case of what
happened to Carlos, the person who received my call told me
that I should be calm and not hang up the call until the
ambulance arrived, then the ambulance arrived and we all went
to the clinic thank God the injuries were not serious and after
some tests, he had nothing wrong, now he must rest until he
fully recovers.
