BRM LAB TEST:-13/04/2022

ASHIRWAD TIWARI

M210049MS

Test for normality:-

Ho:- The data follows normal distribution

H1:- The data does not follow normal distribution

It is tested by checking the significance value from Shapiro Wilk table because the sample size is
less than 50. If the significance value is greater than 0.05 then we will accept our null hypothesis.

Following is the SPSS analysis of Test of Normality.

Tests of Normalitya

group Kolmogorov-Smirnovb Shapiro-Wilk

Statistic df Sig. Statistic df Sig.

A .160 6 .200* .963 6 .846

sales B .229 5 .200* .903 5 .429

C .271 4 . .848 4 .220

*. This is a lower bound of the true significance.

a. sales is constant when group = . It has been omitted.
b. Lilliefors Significance Correction

Since the significance value of the data is greater than 0.05 (level of significance) , then we
cannot reject the null hypothesis.

So the above data follows normal distribution. Hence the test for normality is passed.

Test for homogeneity

Ho:-Data is homogenous

H1:- Data is not homogenous

If the data is homogenous the variances of the data will be constant. We need to check the
significance level of the Levene’s test , if it is greater than 0.05 then , the test for homogeneity is
passed.

Here the significance level is greater than 0.05 so we cannot reject the null hypothesis .

subsets are displayed.
a. Uses Harmonic Mean Sample Size
= 4.865.
b. The group sizes are unequal. The
harmonic mean of the group sizes is
used. Type I error levels are not
guaranteed.

From the Scheffe’s Table and multiple comparison , the significance level in all the three group
is greater than 0.05, so we cannot reject the null hypothesis and we can say that
There is no significant difference among mean sales by the three groups
