 ABOUT PROGRAMME
Government College of Engineering Nagpur is
already marching towards building an
ecosystem of Innovation and Startup. Under the
umbrella of Ministry of Education, Govt of India
and AICTE, Institute Innovation Council (IIC) has
been established in 2018 with a purpose to
foster the culture of innovation and nurture
entrepreneurship capabilities of faculty,
students and all stake holders. This IIC has been
ranked 'star ratings 4.5 and 4 stars in 2020 and
2021respectively' by the Ministry of Education
(MoE), Govt. of India.
This course is designed in collaboration with
Softsense Technoserve (India) Pvt. Ltd. (STIPL)
Nagpur an established leading tech-education
and research enterprise in the city. It aims at
imparting knowledge from ideas generation to
pre-incubation, incubation and guiding from
the incubator as successful start-ups.
The resource persons for this programme will be
stalwart personalities from Circular Economy
Alliance Australia, MNLU Mumbai, TiE Nagpur,
TCS Pune, MSME Nagpur, VANAMATI Nagpur,
IBM Bangalore, industrialists, experts from
government organizations and in-house faculty
trained as innovation ambassadors by AICTE.
