1. All the presentation handouts must include:

b. Group members’ name and matric numbers
c. Tutorial day and time

2. After the presentation, presenters have to:


a. Revise the content based on the comments and suggestions given by
the tutor and peers.
b. Prepare a report (point form is not allowed) to represent the content of
presentation in detail.
c. Submit the report to the tutors after ONE week of the presentation
date.

1. a. Distinguish the critical features of measurement, evaluation, and
assessment.
b. Explain the uses of assessment results.

2. a. What are the six levels of cognitive domain based on revision version of
Bloom Taxonomy? Using a topic you plan to teach, give an example of
each level.
b. Compare the traditional trends and current trends of educational
assessment. Give examples to support your comparison.

3. List five learning outcomes that are best measured with selected-response
test item. List another five learning outcomes that are best measured with
performance assessment methods (e.g. project, oral presentation,
interview etc). Give reasons to support your answer.

4. Discuss the important characteristics, advantages and disadvantages of


using performance-based assessment. Give examples to support your
discussion.

5. a. Discuss what is meant by ‘scoring rubric’. Show examples to support


your discussion.
b. Discuss the concept of outcome-based assessment.

6. Explain the different types of validity. Why do you think validity is such a
central concept in educational measurement?
