Element 1:

Between these three articles, you can see many similarities, and the most important one being
the results they shared and the impact these yoga and meditation initiatives made. These
articles were able to the show the integration of the practices, the progress, and the significant
results of the immense change brining these specific types of programs can have on the
workplace, and a change that is seen to be very positive. For the most part these three articles
shared a very similar research method, which was to select a certain amount of people and
randomly place them into two different groups, and in which one group will receive these yoga
classes where they can practice yoga and also be taught the theories behind yoga and the
benefits. While the control group will either be receiving no form of intervention or minimal
physical exercise as well as mild to moderate management theories. The amount of people
taking part in these research studies varied depending on the article, however, the basis for
the study stayed the same. On the end of the study, each article was able to take away the
same conclusions. The results showed that the group who received these yoga classes and
interventions had a significant reduction in aggression, increase in physical activity, as well as
a resilience towards stress compared to those who received none or minimal forms on
intervention.

Element 2:
The chosen workplace setting is a small paper company and the main targeted audience is
owners, managers/supervisors that work in the small paper company. Although they work in
the same company they all have similar and different educational backgrounds. A similarity
they have is that they have knowledge and education about business. Since this business is a
small paper company they would have moderate complexity of information that they would
understand. A way to deliver the messages and information to the audience is by having
verbal, written, and visual communication and interaction so they have the ability to
understand the concept and context of information. The first take home message from the
research synthesis is “yoga and meditation are great initiatives into a program that involves
having a healthy mental health”. This message informs the audiences that yoga and
meditation is a health initiative to have. The second message is that “having some sort of
moderate physical activity is a factor of the journey of having good health”. Since yoga has a
physical activity aspect, it's a good way to remind the audience that it is important as well. The
final message is “strong mental health is an important characteristic to have for the human
body”. This overall message signifies that taking care of the human body is very important.
One activity that can be applied is to have a seminar for the group so that they will have some
sort of knowledge and information about the program. Another activity is to have group
discussions about certain scenarios and share life experiences
Element 3:
The level of interaction would be moderate so that the targeted audience would be able to
understand the information provided in the knowledge translation context. The information that
was gathered in the studies is way too complex for the audience to understand. The reason
being is that the articles consist of authors that have expertise in their field of work that
provides complex information. To convert the complex information from the studies, using
basic or moderate languages may influence the targeted audience's understanding of the
information. Increased interaction and collaboration can be beneficial for the implementation of
knowledge translation to this audience on this topic because it would help the audience
understand the context that is being presented.

Element 4:
An ethical issue to take into consideration when implementing a yoga health initiative in the
workplace of a small paper company would be unrealistic goals set by the company onto it’s
employees. Unrealistic goals may cause organizational leaders to put unnecessary pressure
on the employees. Another ethical issue that can present itself during the implementation of a
yoga health initiative would be harrasment from employees to the yoga instructor or vice
versa. This can come in the form of inappropriate comments such as racial slurs or body
shaming, and sexual harrasment from the yoga instructor towards the employees of the
company. Sexual harrasment in this context could include physically touching employees in an
inappropriate manner while adjusting/correcting their pose, and making inappropriate sexual
comments towards the employees.
